Participants will understand hat networking is, why it is important to career success, and what they need to do to develop good networking skills.

• Learning Outcomes:

Participants will:

• Clarify the value proper networking

• Acquire tools for developing a strong professional network

• Identify their own different networking groups

• Identify individuals within their networking groups

• Select effective networking strategies for growing their own networ

• Identify the two major types of network groups

• Set short-term goals for developing their own network

• Set mid-range and long-range goals for growing their professional network
